If I were to build 100 homes in a lifetime, I would request that David Jensen and team design each one of them. Our new home is a joy to experience and share.

Front of House October 2020.jpeg
Recently, Mary and I were reflecting upon the brilliance of your design.   Hundreds and hundreds of people have passed through the doors.  Our home has served as a gathering space for all types of events, large and small.   In addition, it has been the most comfortable of homes for Mary and me.

We are grateful.

our experience has taught us

INSPIRATION

The personality, lifestyle and human values are the essential fuel that each client utilizes to achieve good design.  Where this inspiration comes from is always a part of the intrigue. Each client follows a unique path. Some are dealing with unexpected changes in their lives, others become committed to the idea of downsizing and accommodating anticipated future needs. In every case the motivation is personal.

HOUSES ARE ABOUT PEOPLE

Where we choose to settle, how and what we build, and how our homes feel when they are finished are all reflections of who we are.

THE BEST HOMES

Are born of the care, commitment, and reflect the personalities of the people involved.

DISCOVERING THE CLEVERLY SIMPLE HOUSE

There are three recurring themes when you find such a house, and these three things are almost universal.

1. EXPRESSION OF SELF

2. ARTFUL TEAMWORK

3. MEMORBALE SPACE

 1. EXPRESSION OF SELF

The process of designing and building a home precipitates questions about values, lifestyle, and preferences that might never have surfaced otherwise.

2. ARTFUL TEAMWORK

When builder, architect, and homeowner pursue the same vision, the whole becomes larger than the sum of its individual parts.

3. MEMORBALE SPACE

A house has a character that is more than the configuration of walls, roof, windows and doors. These houses are interwoven with their sites, and invariably feel as if they’ve been there for a very long time.
