We think the kitchen is the most important room in your house. So important that we opened a kitchen design studio in 1984 in Birmingham called Kitchen’s by Jensen. That experience has benefited all of our building and remodeling clients since then.
We know that renovating or creating a kitchen from scratch can be a grueling process—trust us, we’ve been there. But it’s worth the effort, because a successful experience not only adds value to your home but adds pleasure to your life. After all, kitchens are the hub of the home and if you love cooking and entertaining, a great kitchen is not only life-enhancing but life-changing.
It’s no surprise that homeowners spend more money on a kitchen remodel than on any other home improvement project. But while we at Kitchen’s by Jensen believe in the importance of high-quality materials and craftsmanship, as well as superior design and functionality, we’d never insist that everything must be top-of-the-line. Indeed, we’ve always taken a high/low approach to design, mixing favorite pricey things with accessible affordable ones. Basically, it all comes down to spending on the important things and saving where you can. And we’re here to help you figure out the difference.
